Our process is not only to punch-out work as it progresses, but to always work with a sense of urgency in the fourth quarter to eliminate surprises at the end. We begin the final punch-out process, as well as the closeout process, a minimum of 60 days prior to the scheduled completion of the project. Our team encourages all trades to participate in pre-inspections and punch-walks in order to better understand the expectations needed to finish the project on time. We also understand that during this time, your business’s success relies on timely turnover and completion of your operational work required for your project to officially become a revenue generating reality. Our team works closely with you to ensure your needs are met and that your scope is completed hand-in-hand with ours. Also, for us, finishing a project is more than simply obtaining final inspections and handing over a Certificate of Occupancy. We provide detailed operation and maintenance manuals and “as-built” drawings as part of our closeout documents. These documents include information on every material that went into your project, all project contact information, warranty information, and anything you would need to know how to manage your completed project.
No worries, we don’t just hand you the closeout documents and wish you the best…we provide specific training on each system to you and your staff as required, so all involved have a working knowledge of what was installed and how to maintain. Can’t figure something out down the road? Design 2 Construct not only warrants all installation for one year, we are always available beyond that period if you need guidance or assistance. We also offer service contracts for extended periods because who knows more about your project than the professionals that built it? D2C is your partner before, during, and well after construction.
